Introduced in 2008 with the LunarTrainer and Lunaracer running silhouettes, Nike's revolutionary Lunarlon foam changed the game for runners and sneaker aficionados alike.

The lightweight, cushy foam was originally developed to be used by NASA and changed the course of running footwear. Whilst the industry had been chasing more minimal shoes, here was the Lunar series rocking thick slabs of foam that somehow weighed less.

After 15 years Nike revisits this momentous occasion with the Lunar Roam, sporting reinforcement to make these a more suitable silhouette for today's fashion landscape.
